IC342
The galaxy IC342 belongs to the Hubble class SAB(rs)cd. Its disk is inclined by 25-31° with respect to the sky plane. Distance estimates range between 2 and 4 Mpc, with a median value of 3.3 Mpc. At this small distance IC342 extends over a large angle in the sky, comparable to the Sun and the Moon.
