Large Magellanic Cloud
The Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) is a neighbor of the Milky Way and belongs to the Hubble class SB(s)m. Its median distance is only 50 kpc. The LMC shows a bar and few spiral segments in the optical and radio emission.
